This is a "girls only" penpal club. Only girls can join.

To join the club, you must be a girl between the ages of 7-17 This club is for all the girls of the world.

Girls from any country or state may join.

To be a member you must have a valid, verifiable email address at all times.

You must have your parents permission to join.

Members must stay active in the club. If a member does not write any penpal letters to any other member within a 30 day period, their penpal account will be considered inactive. Inactive accounts are dropped from the searches. To make your account active again, just write another member.

Members are responsible and will be held accountable for the use of their own passcodes.

Members agree to keep their passcodes safe and out of the hands of others.

Only one user is permitted per account. Siblings and friends of the member are NOT allowed to use a single penpal account.

No member may write using curse words or bad language on our site.

No member may use other letters or characters to spell out or suggest curse words or bad language on our site.

No member may insult or harass another member.

We are a family friendly website. Please keep your postings "G" rated. No adult topics, please.

No member may write using HTML on our site. Doing so might very well damage your account.

No member may request money from another member or advertise a business through our site.

No member may start their own individual contest, ratings or reward system. Contests, ratings or awards are activities or features that are run by the Club Program Manager.

No member may send chain mail or chain letters using our website.

The Circle of Friends Penpal Club does not read or edit letters or bios unless a complaint is made, or in the course of solving a technical problem. However, we reserve the right to edit any bio, letter, or posting.

No member may put personally identifiable information of any person in any biography or letter or posting for other members to read. Personally identifiable information includes, but is not limited to; email address, last name, phone number, instant message ID, cell phone, pager, mailing address, city, school name. Club members may not ask another member for this information.

Club members may not ask another member to write or contact them outside of the penpal club system.

Do not write back any girl who asks you for any of the personal information mentioned above. Show your parents and contact customer service immediately about any message that asks for personal information or has bad language or makes you feel uncomfortable in any way.

No member may give out URLS of other websites with the intention of inviting our members to contact them through that URL. Leading another member to a page that contains email addresses, screen names, IM addresses or guest books or other requests for personal information will violate this rule.

Club members may not ask another member to write or contact them outside of the penpal club system.

The Circle of Friends Penpal Club does not read or edit letters or bios unless a complaint is made or in the course of solving a technical problem. However, we reserve the right to edit any bio, letter or posting and to suspend without warning any member who violates any of the Privacy Rules.

You must have a valid, verifiable email address on record with us at all times so we can contact you in case of a problem or an emergency.

If your email address changes, please go to the Edit Profile page and change the information we have online for you.

This site does not sell or give out email addresses or mailing lists or personally identifiable information about girls to anyone else. Period.

Please write letters back to girls who write you. Let them know that you got their letter.

If you have too many penpals, please take yourself off the search engine list by changing your preferences on the Tools page.

The club does not set limits on the numbers of penpals members can have. We suggest that you don't have more penpals than you have time to write.
